Someday was originally written by Kane as a possible UK single for the Jonas Brothers. After negotiations fell through and the Jonas bros opted to not release a UK single we said "heck, let's put this song on OUR record!"
Perhaps the catchiest most radio friendly song we've ever released but still plenty of trademark Modern Science moments...
lyrics
As desperation grows
He's desperate and it shows
He'd rather hit and quit it
than wait for a minute
You better leave that boy alone
Whatever that you do
Don't let that guy touch you
Coz if you think for a minute
He'll put his heart in it
You're gonna end up on your own
Someday, Someday he'll hurt you
One day one day desert you
Take back all the words he told you
Coz all of them were lies
Someday true love will find you
One step one step behind you
I'll take away the pain inside you
Someday Someday
The secrets you don't know
All the girls that come and go
If you could put yourself in it
You wouldn't admit it
So you don't even want to know
What more must I still prove
You know that I'm the man to choose
Just try and consider
The one that you'd never
You won't ever find yourself alone
You never see
You never see the things you should
He comes around but he don't treat you like I could
Just come to me, just come to me
Coz you know that he can't compare
He can't compare...
